ENcome expands in Asia

Following up on the successful market entry in Australia, the ENcome Group undertakes the next step in the Asian-Pacific ("APAC") economic region. The new point of service is located in Taipeh/Taiwan and will be managed by Benjamin Gevelhoff, responsible for commercial operations in APAC with immediate effect.

Significant growth in the PV area and strong demand for advisory and O&M services make Taiwan an important market and a promising starting point for further growth in the APAC region. In addition to Australia, the countries South Korea, Vietnam and Thailand will be the prime focus. “As a leading O&M provider in the PV sector, ENcome further extends its international reach" says Andreas Leimbach, Managing Director of the ENcome Group and adds: “ENcome will remain a growth engine”.

Having been involved in the build up of the Australian business from the beginning, Benjamin Gevelhoff now takes charge of ENcome APAC. This includes the management of ENcome Australia Ltd., jointly with Sigi Psutka. At present the ENcome Australia portfolio under management is at approx. 300 MWp. "Setting up ENcome APAC in Taiwan, as a bridge between Europe and Australia, is the logical growth step that will significantly accelerate the development of our O&M and Advisory business in APAC," says Benjamin Gevelhoff. "Proximity to our customers and their assets is particularly important to me," he adds.

Daman Cole, previous Managing Director of ENcome Australia Ltd., will depart at the end of July 2019. The advisory business of the ENcome Group, performed by ENcome Engineering GmbH, will be managed by Andreas Leimbach.
