Photovoltaic systems that adapt to their environment – a flagship Austrian research project reaches a successful conclusion

The three‐year Austrian INFINITY project investigated how the entire photovoltaic system – starting with materials, components and processes – can be adapted to meet the demands of different environments and regions. Led by the CTR Carinthian Tech Research centre, 14 project partners from science and industry, including ENcome Energy performance, conducted research into solutions to suit different environments in order to optimise energy output and increase system lifetimes.

ENcome Group expands activities in the Netherlands

Engineering & Advisory services provider ENcome Engineering GmbH, member of ENcome Group, supports banks and asset managers on transaction decisions in the Dutch market. Five major banks in the Netherlands already trust the company as Owner’s and/or Lender’s Engineer. Since starting in the Netherlands in 2016, ENcome has supported the planning and implementation of photovoltaic projects with a total capacity of more than 150 megawatts. This includes, amongst others, the project Stadskanaal in Groningen with a size of 13.75 megawatts.

ENcome signs more than 130 MWp of new Photovoltaic O&M contracts in Australia

Supported by rapid growth in its Australian O&M business, ENcome reports a continued growth in revenues and assets under management. In Australia alone, additional O&M contracts with a total capacity of more than 130 MWp have been signed. Further O&M contracts with a total capacity of up to 400 MW are under advanced negotiation. The group`s total assets under management have increased to over 1.2 GWp.

Bloomberg New Energy Finance (BNEF), Bloomberg´s energy research unit, has ranked ENcome one of the top providers of solar Operation and Maintenance (O&M) services. In their latest research on solar O&M BNEF reports ENcome to be the seventh largest solar O&M provider globally with a total portfolio of 1.2 GW assets under management. The BNEF report reveals ongoing price pressure and, consequently, further needs for market consolidation. Moreover, the report identifies O&M trends in the scope of services, contract duration, and contractual enforcements.

ENcome and Green Services Group merge O&M operations in France

ENcome Energy Performance GmbH and Green Services Group have announced to merge their French O&M operations. Both partners will transfer their O&M activities and particularly the O&M business of KBE Energy, one of Green Services Group affiliates to the new joint venture company ENcome Energy Performance France SAS. Thereby ENcome France becomes one of the leading O&M providers in France with an O&M portfolio of approx. 150 MWp.
