Business Development Manager

The ENcome group is an independent provider for the operation of PV plants. It solely focuses on technical Operation and Maintenance (“O&M”) and Engineering & Advisory (“E&A”) services. Its leading market position is reflected by an overall O&M portfolio under management of approx. 1.5 Gigawatt. ENcome maintains operations in all major European markets, Taiwan and Australia.

For the Italian & Spanish subsidiaries (Milan Office) we are looking for a

Business Development Manager

The resource will report to the Managing Director Italy & Spain and to the Head of Group Commercial Operations with cross countries responsibility on the development of the O&M, Engineering and Revamping business. The work will be based in Milan with foreseen travels in Italy and abroad.

Responsibilities:

  • Analyze the territory/market’s potential, track sales
  • Market intelligence activities and sales pipeline generation
  • Present, promote and sell ENcome services to new prospects
  • Perform cost-benefit analysis finalizing with the team budgeting, commercial proposal and customer cost/benefit analysis
  • Establish, develop and maintain positive business and customer relationships
  • Expedite the resolution of customer problems and complaints to maximize satisfaction
  • Achieve agreed upon sales targets and outcomes within schedule
  • Coordinate sales effort with team members and other departments
  • Supply management with reports on customer needs, problems, interests, competitive activities, and potential for new products and services
  • Continuously improve through feedback

Requirements:

  • MS Degree in Engineering
  • Excellent knowledge of MS Office
  • Proven experience in the PV sector (e.g. EPC/O&M contracts, LOI, Term sheet, etc.)
  • Highly motivated and target driven with a proven track record in sales
  • Excellent selling, communication and negotiation skills
  • Prioritizing, time management and organizational skills
  • Excellent team builder/motivator and team member
  • Relationship management skills and openness to feedback
  • Passion to achieve “impossible targets”
  • Mandatory requirements:
    • English written / spoken
  • Nice to have requirements:
    • Spanish written / Spoken
    • German written / Spoken
    • MBA
